Teresa Koltzenburg, MS, MBA
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve led marketing and communications initiatives for higher education institutions, healthcare organizations, and national associations. My career has included leadership roles at Culver-Stockton College, Quincy Medical Group, Purdue University, Western Illinois University, and the American Library Association, where I’ve built brands, led integrated marketing strategies, managed teams and budgets, and partnered with executive leadership to advance organizational priorities.
Today, at Culver-Stockton College, my work focuses on helping build stronger marketing capabilities. I enjoy bringing together strategy, analytics, branding, digital marketing, communications, and emerging technologies to create marketing organizations that are collaborative, measurable, and aligned with institutional goals. Whether guiding a brand refresh, implementing data-informed decision making, strengthening digital marketing performance, or preparing marketing teams for the evolving landscape of AI-powered search, I’m energized by leading change.
Outside of work, I teach communication and marketing courses at the university level because I enjoy helping students connect theory with real-world practice. I’m continually exploring emerging marketing technologies, AI, and digital strategy, not because they’re trendy, but because they help organizations communicate more effectively and make better decisions.
At the core, I believe good marketing is good communication, and that’s what I try to bring to every project, classroom, and conversation.
